The summers spent at Black Lake in upstate New York gave Jack and Sondra plenty of opportunities to focus on natural forms. This image of Clouds was drawn from observation, and Jack's imagination has found (or invented) a playful interaction of positive and negative forms in the lower right corner of the print.
