In the fall of 1973, Sondra was one of the twenty-six artists (including Jack Beal) who participated in an exhibition entitled Hand Colored Prints. Brooke Alexander had a gallery at 26 East 78th Street in New York City and it was his idea to bring together these artists who had made print editions to which they had added water- color, ink or crayon.
